Sarasota Family Christmas Portraits

 Last Saturday I met up with my friend Lora and her beautiful family to take Christmas portraits. We started at Sarasota Bayfront Park and then moved on to Lora's house (check out her decorations including a Rudolph reindeer and the A Christmas Story leg lamp).  This certainly is my favorite time of year and Christmas portraits with happy, loving families makes my job so enjoyable!

Iron Chef Thanksgiving: Battle Cream Cheese

I had a unique and fun Thanksgiving 2009!

My family had an Iron Chef Cookoff. 

Chef Epperson (me) vs Chef Penninger (my uncle Mike).

The secret ingredient: cream cheese! After a long, hard battle Chef Penninger won by one point! Stay tuned for the rematch- Battle Christmas!

 

Martha Stewart Craft Party Nov 17

I was chosen by houseparty.com to host a Martha Stewart Craft Party this week. They sent me a box of Martha Stewart craft supplies, a stack of coupons, and three project ideas and I invited my friends over to eat delicious goodies and craft! We had a blast and even though our projects didn't exactly look like Ms Martha's we still had fun. Lesson learned--- as fun as it was to decorate ornaments with glitter- we learned this project should only be done outside! I'm still finding glitter EVERYWHERE!
